Created by star design duo Harry & Camila, BABYLONE is a signature collection of planters, lamps, garden vases and stools that forms a key addition to the DEDON concept of outdoor living. Characterised by grooved and asymmetrical forms that appear to collapse, these radically designed pieces might appear to be one-offs made by hand. In fact, they are the result of complex algorithms, sophisticated rotational moulding techniques and a wealth of imagination and perseverance by their creators, who cite sources of inspiration as diverse as Pieter Breugel’s Tower of Babel and a pair of slouchy suede boots Harry wore in the 1980s.
Both minimalist and resolutely expressive, the BABYLON line blends perfectly with all style trends. But these pieces are much more than accessories, and they also work very well on their own.
